Ki o' Rahi Tournament
Last term the health leaders from around the cluster went to the Yaldhurst School and learnt a new game called Ki o' Rahi. After, the health leaders learnt the game, the Yaldhurst School Council asked us to ask our principals and talk about letting some of the Trekkers (Big Kids) to play in a tournament that the Yaldhurst School Council will hold in Term 4 in week 5. This week a team from HPS, including 2 of the health leaders; went to the tournament and met some new people.

SWIMMING TIME!
It is now summer, the sun is shinning and your probably burning in all this heat, but no worries it is now time to go swimming. Here in HPS we have been starting our swimming programs, it has been a fun 4 weeks swimming. Half of that 4 weeks we have been also swimming in Canterbury Swim school, in there we learn't how to do a lot of things like, Freestyle, Backstroke and many more.
After that swimming in Canterbury swim school, we have now transferred to swimming in our own swimming pool at school. It has been a fun 2 two weeks and when it is lunch time, our amazing receptionist/office manager has been taking lunch time swims. So a big thank to her she has been taking up her lunch time to do this, so thank you.
So are some people who were having an amazing time learning to swim in Canterbury swim school, hope you enjoy.
